Hello and a very warm welcome to Reading University Music Society!

Reading University Music Society (RUMS) is one of the largest societies
belonging to Reading University Student's Union.
We offer a wide range of musical ensembles, suitable for players and singers
of all standards. We also provide the opportunity for members to conduct and start new ensembles.

We are always welcoming new members who simply enjoy making
music in a fun and friendly environment, so if you're interesting in joining or just want to find out more, then please don't hesitate to get in touch with us.
RUMS membership is open to students for £10 a year and non-students for £12
a year. This allows you to join an unlimited number of ensembles and choirs.

We hold at least one concert each term, showcasing our diverse range of ensembles and all the hard work (and fun!) that we put in. We also hold fantastic socials, which provide wonderful opportunities to meet new people and make new friends.
